Today, September 12th 2023, marks the 24th birthday of this website. To celebrate, here is a completely new music video for Yazoo’s first single, Only You.
An official video was never made in 1982, but I think it deserves one. This is my take. From Alison’s add in Melody Maker, searching for a blues band, to the final performance together at Roundhouse in London in 2011. This is the story of Yazoo, wrapped in memories from the years when the group was active.
