Stream 'The Violet Flame'

Tomorrows the big day when Erasures latest album ‘The Violet Flame’ is released. The first reviews are already written and you can listen to a stream of the full album on Soundcloud.

Well, most of you probably already know that it’s possible to listen to the full album, but for those of you who doesn’t, here’s a link – Erasure: The Violet Flame.

The first reviews are already published and they’re quite positive. Classic Pop Magazine gives ‘The Violet Flame’ five stars and writes:

Heart, craft and unstoppable energy. It could be the greatest album Pet Shop Boys never made.”

Slug Magazine has a pretty lengthy review and concludes:

29 years into their career, Erasure have delivered yet another remarkably memorable album.”

As mentioned ‘The Violet Flame’ will be available in Europe tomorrow, Monday september 22nd, and in the states on tuesday. It will be available in both a single disc edition and a special edition with two discs – the second containing a live recording of their show at the Mute Festival in 2011 (unfortunately the Yazoo part is not included … ).
